Malaysia reports 1054 new Covid-19 cases (3rd November 2020)

KUALA LUMPUR (3rd Nov) : Malaysia reports a total of 34393 confirmed cases with 1,054 new cases reported today, the 3rd time Malaysia has seen 4 figures in new cases since the pandemic began. 

Today also marks the first time Malaysia has seen over 5 figures in active cases as Sabah’s active cases surged to an all-time high at 16,873 confirmed cases, approximately 49% of the entire CoVID-19 cases across Malaysia.  

Today reports the highest death toll since the global pandemic began, sitting at 12 new recorded deaths with 94 cases still placed under ICU.

It is also the first time the daily recovered cases are lower than the newly confirmed cases since 29th October 2020.
